Internship opportunities at the Population Council Nigeria

The Population Council Nigeria’s Young Graduate Internship in Youth Focused HIV/AIDS Programming is a one-year internship programme that engages university graduates aged 20-27 years, to serve as Youth Programme Assistants within the HIV/AIDS unit of the Population Council Abuja office.

The programme seeks to develop young professionals who are interested in working in youth focused HIV-related programming in Nigeria by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and experience to effectively design, implement and manage HIV and other sexual and reproductive health (SRH) projects targeting adolescents, young people and other vulnerable populations.

Participants in the upcoming programme will have the opportunity to work at Population Council Nigeria from May 2013 - May 2014.

If you are interested, leave a comment with your active email address and the full advert with the application form will be sent to you.

About the blog: Workforce News Feed

This blog is designed to provide information that will meet the needs of the workforce.  It is a forum where readers can discuss workforce trends, issues and best practices.

With my years of experience in Human Resources Management and Administration, I have been exposed to the challenges that Recruiters face in attracting the right talents; the challenges of Managers in managing human resources and even the challenges of young graduates because they lack certain skills sets or have not yet obtained the years of experience required to do a job.

This blog is here to support you. It provides a forum where people can openly discuss issues so that we can all learn. Experience is a process of learning. I will also offer advice on HR issues that you may encounter in the workplace and how best to resolve them. Job postings will also be shared here.

Useful suggestions will be welcomed and shared as a means of learning. Enjoy!
